About this service

Contractors sweep up, but they do not clean. After a remodel or a new build, a fine layer of drywall and tile dust settles on every surface and keeps coming back for days as it drifts out of vents, cabinets and window tracks. Post-construction cleaning removes it properly, along with paint flecks, sticker and tape residue, grout haze and footprints on new floors.

We work top down: vents, ceiling fans and light fixtures first, then cabinets inside and out, counters, fixtures, glass, baseboards and finally floors, using vacuums that trap fine dust instead of blowing it around. In Tucson's dry air that dust travels far, so we wipe everything, not just what looks dirty. Book it once the trades are finished and the debris is hauled away, ideally before the furniture moves back in.

Questions people ask

When should I schedule post-construction cleaning?

After the last trade is finished, the debris is hauled away and the dust has had a day to settle. If painters or flooring installers are still coming back, wait until they're done.

Do you remove construction debris?

We handle the cleaning, not the demolition cleanup. Our hauling add-on takes a small load of bagged debris or boxes, each piece under 25 lb. Larger loads need a dumpster or a hauler.

Why does it cost more than a deep cleaning?

Construction dust is fine and gets everywhere, including inside cabinets, vents and tracks, so every surface needs wiping, often twice. It's priced at twice a standard cleaning.

Do you work for contractors and builders?

Yes. For new commercial builds or several units at once, see our commercial post-construction cleaning and request a proposal.
